Just recently appeared in one of @complex channels, Pinot, a pixel artist from Indonesia has been ripping the old gag of tech into a screen of his works. Obviously, there’s nothing to stop him except a Nintendo, some Nokia vintage-cell and a bunch of retro gadgets. Like one-of-a-kind artists, Pinot has been long known for his distinguished dipping of his creative intelligence for turning an archaic tech to create an exquisite art. You gotta scroll down his page and name every pop-cult like Stranger Things, Gambino’s “This Is America” and Do It All The Time’s MV in the inches of pixel art.

Pinot W. Ichwandardi has continuously crafted a series of new pixel art drawings with his old-tech collection. You can name a lot of pop-cult icons that turn into a bunch of pixel pieces such as Star Wars figures in 1-bit pixel art which he crafted with Palm PDA. Not to mention his works using Nintendo, Pinot breaks over these old-gags such as Nokia cell to create a simple-sophisticated motion.

Let’s bring back the time when Pinot recreated “This Is America” music video by Childish Gambino using a big-tech of Macintosh 128k and all the early Apple networking technology which was utilized to animate the famous dancing act in 1-bit pixel art.
